Basic Qualifications and Skills

  • Work with and take direction from Electrical Project Manager/Designer/Engineer
  • Experience developing and implementing project procedures, schedules & standards in our project system
  • Model safe work practices
  • Track project performance
  • Provide technical assistance such as interpretation of drawings, recommend construction methods, specify and order parts, tools & equipment
  • Create purchase requisitions
  • Manage project files, drawings, documents & records in our project system
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience or degree in Construction Management
  • Some knowledge of the electrical construction industry & business practices
  • Basic understanding of project management, including estimating, planning, scheduling, cost management, materials/purchasing, operations & maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to learn and operate on new computer systems
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Proven communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • U.S. Citizen or have legal right to work in the USA without sponsorship
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass a drug test
  • Supply verifiable references
  • Be willing to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Be willing to work on some out-of-town projects
